RISD Policy on Gender Identity & Expression
Chosen Name Policy: for those wishing to go by a first name that is different from their legal birth name while on campus.
ISE is committed to creating a welcoming environment for all students. It is our mission to provide education and resources for LGBTQIA+ students, faculty and staff. All ISE staff office space and the Ewing Multicultural Center serve as safe spaces provided by our office where any community member can feel safe and welcomed.
